Historic Harbor Living
Norfolk, Virginia sits beside the Elizabeth River in Hampton Roads, a natural harbor. With a current population of 237,835, it is one of the largest cities in Virginia. Today, Norfolk is in a state of "urban renewal" and many areas including Ocean View and East Beach are being rejuvenated. Some effects of these renovations are that Norfolk is becoming a central business district and attracts a variety of tourists and residents as diverse as its economy. Norfolk has morphed into a culturally rich cosmopolitan center. Millions come every year to enjoy its historic attractions, avant-garde shopping district, upscale restaurant and theater district and lounge in the sun on the white sand beaches of Chesapeake Bay.
